Jenni over at Chilling with Lucas has tagged me to answer some Christmas questions and it has dawned on me, this is my first Christmas themed post.
What’s your favourite Christmas movie?
It has to be Polar Express
Have you ever had a white Christmas?
The second Christmas after I moved to the UK, there was snow on the ground on Christmas day, does that count?
Where do you usually spend your holiday?
We spend it at home normally, making a quick visit to my Mother In-laws, though we have a lovely after Christmas time at my sister in-laws. Though I would love to be able to fly over to spend Christmas with my family one year.
What is your favourite Christmas song?
I really don’t know but Bing reminds me of Christmas. My brother and I used to put the CD on every year to decorate.
Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Yes, We have a Christmas Eve basket, which has PJ’s, games or movies, snacks and a little present each.
Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and can’t forgot Rudolph!
Which holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year?
I love the excitement and joy on Christmas Eve when we play family games together.
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
What is your all time favourite holiday treat/food/sweet?
Shellfish, I love having the shellfish party food – I know its not just a holiday thing though.
Be honest, do you like giving or receiving gifts better?
I’m a giver, I love to see peoples reactions. Though nothing beats the face of J opening his presents, and in a couple of years Ro.
What is the best Christmas present you ever received?
I am really not sure, it is possibly last years present from the Mr. I was to scared to buy anything for Ro, while I was pregnant in case I jinxed it, he brought me the start of a hospital bag and an outfit for her.
What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
To spend Christmas back with my family in Australia.
Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I start off quite good but by the end of it, I am failing.
Most memorable Christmas moment?
I think it would have to be my first Christmas in the UK, such a drastic change for me.
What made you realise the truth about Santa?
What do you mean truth about Santa ? haha I think I was told
What makes the holidays special for you?
Watching the excitement in the kids faces ( J and before that T ) and getting some family time in.
